Kenny Omega Makes It Official; Signs With AEW #MMBAEW

Kenny Omega has officially signed with All Elite Wrestling.

Omega made his first appearance for the promotion at tonight's AEW Double Or Nothing Ticket Announcement Party at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. He said he and his friends will now be able to show wrestling fans what "change the world" means.

Omega noted that he didn't sign his AEW contract until this morning. He became a free agent on February 2 after his contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling expired. Omega reportedly turned down a significant offer from WWE to join his friends Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks in AEW.

Omega was billed as an Executive Vice President, the same title that Cody, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson all share. Omega also said he is a full-time wrestler for AEW.

Omega was confronted by Chris Jericho at tonight's event and the two tangled for a minute on the stage, setting up their rematch at Double Or Nothing on May 25 in Las Vegas. Then-IWGP United States Champion Omega defeated Jericho in a No DQ match at NJPW's Wrestle Kingdom 12 event in January 2018.

GN’R, Def Leppard-Themed Cheeses Coming to a Grocery Near You #MMBMusic

I love me a good pun, but this might be too cheesy for even the biggest pun enthusiasts.

Per Delish, the grocery chain’s Happy Farms brand is releasing six new kinds of cheese that feature punny ‘80s musical names.  Among them is Sweet Cheddar of Mine, an obvious nod to Guns N’ Roses, and Pour Some Gouda On Me, another obvious nod but to Def Leppard.  

The other four cheese products are Wake Me Up Before you Goat Goat (Wham!), Girls Just Wanna Have Fontina (Cyndi Lauper), Total Eclipse of the Havarti (Bonnie Tyler) and Billie Goat is Not My Lover (Michael Jackson.)

Having two varieties of goat cheese seems a bit lazy.  At the same time, they could have really expanded things and released a line of Like a Virgin Olive Oil and really go all in on the puns.

Each product will be priced at $3.49 and will be available for a limited time only starting February 6.

During an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Liam Hemsworth revealed Miley Cyrus has decided to take her husband's last name following their December wedding.

“I heard you got married to one of my favorite people...Miley Cyrus” Kelly Ripa greeted the 29-year-old actor on Friday (Feb. 8). With a sweet smile, Liam corrected the talk show host. “ Miley Ray Hemsworth now, actually,” he replied. Though she’ll continue to “be known as Miley Cyrus” professionally, she's officially a Hemsworth in her personal life.


“I think that was honestly one of the best things about it. I didn’t ask her to take my name, but then she’s like, ‘No, of course I’m taking your name ,’ ” he recalled. “I’m like, ‘That’s awesome. That’s really good.’'

Liam also opened up about what his first month as a married man has been like, saying it's exciting to be able to call each other husband and wife. "It's become a little more normal, but the first couple of weeks it was... I mean, it's only been a month and a half," he said. "But the first couple of weeks was really foreign to me, with 'wife' and 'husband.'" Now that he's gotten used to the change, though, he has Miley saved in his phone now as simply "wife."

As for why they decided to opt for a small, intimate wedding at their Tennessee home, he said, “We find the whole thing kind of embarrassing. We know how we feel about each other, but we just wanted to do something simple and organic and just with immediate family. But it was a really nice day. Really special.”

How cute are the Hemsworths? Congrats again to the newlyweds!

Miley Cyrus is Vanity Fair's new cover girl and the just-released interview sees the pop titan explain that she still identifies herself as a queer person even though she is married to Liam Hemsworth.

In the lengthy feature, which was published on Thursday (February 21), Cyrus explains that she hopes her marriage to the Hollywood titan shifts the general view on love, gender and sexuality. "The reason that people get married sometimes can be old-fashioned, but I think the reason we got married isn't old-fashioned — I actually think it’s kind of New Age," the 26-year-old chart-topper told the magazine. "We're redefining, to be f**king frank, what it looks like for someone that’s a queer person like myself to be in a hetero relationship."


Cyrus went on to admit that a big part of her pride and identity is "being a queer person.""What I preach is: People fall in love with people, not gender, not looks, not whatever. What I’m in love with exists on almost a spiritual level. It has nothing to do with sexuality. Relationships and partnerships in a new generation — I don’t think they have so much to do with sexuality or gender," she continued. "Sex is actually a small part, and gender is a very small, almost irrelevant part of relationships."

After taking some inspiration from her "favorite woman in the world, Hillary Clinton," Cyrus realized that that she and Liam were "stronger together" and that was part of her reasoning for marrying the longtime partner. She was simply looking for stability in her life, particularly after the loss of their Malibu home and all of their possessions during the Woolsey fire. Peter Tork, Monkees Bassist, Dead at 77 #MMBMusic

Peter Tork, best known for being the bassist for The Monkees, has died. He was 77.

A cause of death is currently unknown, but Tork was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma, a rare tongue cancer, in 2009. Tork’s sister, Anne Thorkelson, confirmed his passing to The Washington Post. 

Tork’s official Facebook page posted the following tribute to Tork:

"It is with beyond-heavy and broken hearts that we share the devastating news that our friend, mentor, teacher, and amazing soul, Peter Tork, has passed from this world. As we have mentioned in the past, the PTFB team is made up of Peter’s friends, family and colleagues – we ask for your kindness and understanding in allowing us to grieve this huge loss privately...We want to thank each and every one of you for your love, dedication and support of our “boss.” Having you in our world has meant so very much to all of us. Please know that Peter was extremely appreciative of you, his Torkees, and one of his deepest joys was to be out in front of you, playing his music, and seeing you enjoy what he had to share. We send blessings and thoughts of comfort to you all, with much gratitude."

Monkees guitarist Michael Nesmith shared the brief statement, "Just got the news that Peter died. I am heartbroken."

Despite being labeled "The Pre-Fab Four," The Monkees famously outsold The Beatles and The Rolling Stones during their heyday thanks in part to the success of their NBC television show of the same name, which won an Emmy for "Outstanding Comedy Series" in 1967.

The official trailer for the Elton John film Rocketman is now available, and it’s clearly setting itself up to be the next huge music blockbuster.

Rocketman stars Taron Egerton as Sir Elton and is being billed as “an epic musical fantasy,” not a biopic, and rightfully so. This certainly won’t be your average by-the-numbers storytelling. This is something far grander, and considering its subject, fans shouldn’t expect anything less.

Rocketman also stars Jamie Bell as songwriting partner Bernie Taupin, Richard Madden as former manager/boyfriend John Reid and Bryce Dallas Howard and John’s mother, Sheila.

I have a bucket list of guests for my MMB Radio Podcast. Certain people I have been fans of or just find interesting enough that I say to myself, I NEED THIS PERSON ON THE SHOW! One of those people is adult film star Riley Steele.

Jose Canseco's Ex-Wife Speaks Out On Alex Rodriguez Cheating Rumors #MMBSports

Jessica Canseco just set the record straight — she is NOT having an affair with Alex Rodriguez.

Despite her ex-husband Jose Canseco's claims, the former reality star is just friends with A-Rod and she has no plans to interfere with his relationship. "Those false accusations Jose is making are not true!🖐🏻," she wrote on Twitter Tuesday (March 11). "I have known Alex for many years and haven’t even seen him for over 5. I certainly did not sleep with him. I am friendly with both him and Jennifer [Lopez]. As for Jose he can keep playing with his Alien friends😂🤦‍♀️."


"In fact I don’t even get on twitter had to download app again and don’t watch tv and had no idea any of this was going on," Jessica added. "Last time I saw Alex he was with Torrie and I brought my boyfriend over for dinner. We are just friends my god🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️."

As previously reported, hours after J.Lo and A-Rod announced their engagement, Jose accused Alex of cheating on his new fiancée. "Watching World of Dance watching J.Lo text Alex Rodriguez little does she know that he is cheating on her with my ex-wife Jessica [Cancesco] poor girl she has no idea who he really is," Jose wrote on Twitter Sunday (March 11). "I was there a few months back with her when he called her on her phone.

The shamed former baseball player, who admittedly used performance-enhancing drugs while playing the game, didn't end his Twitter rant there. Jose then proceeded to challenge A-Rod to a fight. "Alex Rodriguez stop being a piece of sh*t stop cheating on Jennifer Lopez," he wrote, adding "I challenge you to a boxing match or an MMA match anytime you want."

While Jose offered no proof to back up his claims, he asked that Jennifer contact him to hear the "truth."

"@JLo if you want the truth about Alex Rodriguez call me 702-374-3735," he continued before saying he was willing to "take a polygraph to prove that what I'm saying about Alex Rodriguez is 100% accurate."

Alex and Jennifer, who have been dating since February 2017, never addressed the cheating rumors. Instead the engaged couple amped up the lovey-dovey posts from their tropical vacation in Baker's Bay in Great Guana Cay.

Is The Bachelor’s Colton Underwood Still a Virgin? #MMBPop

The amount of times that Colton Underwood was referred to as a virgin on the latest season of The Bachelor had some fans annoyed and others participating in drinking games while watching the drama-filled season. So when Colton appeared on the After the Final Rose finale segment with now girlfriend Cassie Randolph, host Chris Harrison had to ask: Is Colton still a virgin?

“I will say, heading into the Fantasy Suite I wasn’t thinking about anything other than fighting for our relationship,” Colton told Chris, referring to the couple’s dramatic on-screen breakup. “I know I’ve been very open and candid about my virginity,” he added. “But since there are two of us now in this relationship, it’s something that we’re going to keep to ourselves.”


Harrison jokingly added that he’ll take that as a “yes” and neither Colton nor Cassie denied the assumption. 

While we won’t know for sure, we do know that the couple are sticking by their love story.

Cassie infamously broke up with Colton ahead of the finale with two other girls remaining. Colton then broke up with the other two runners-ups, Tayshia Adams and Hannah Godwin, only to win Cassie back by showing up to her door again and bringing her back to Spain to meet his family and finally have their fantasy suite date. 

“I was so happy to see him,” Cassie has since told People magazine. “And when he told me what happened, I was a little shocked. But it felt really nice that he was fighting for [us] and that he understood where I was coming from and was okay with it. He knew I needed more time.”

The couple, who have now been dating for four months, are also still looking forward to an engagement. 

“Colton never put pressure on me,” Cassie added. “I think that’s why we’re still here today, because we took it at our own pace. We didn’t want to rush something that was going to be forever.”

The Texas Democratic politician has been hinting at a 2020 run in the past few months. O'Rourke told Vanity Fair on Wednesday that he was "born" to run and "I think I'd be good at it." He later confirmed his intention to run with a local Texas TV station, KTSM.

Heavy is the head that wears the crown. Although no one knows that age-old saying better than NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, she, too, will be reminded of that adage when she takes on her toughest challenge yet at TakeOver: New York. 

As announced by NXT General Manager William Regal, The Queen of Spades will defend her coveted crown against Io Shirai, Bianca Belair and Kairi Sane in what is sure to be a heated Fatal 4-Way Match.

Baszler has held the title since October at WWE Evolution, where she defeated Sane to become the first-ever two-time NXT Women’s Champion. Since then, The Submission Magician has been hellbent on guarding her lofty prize, as displayed in her underhanded tactics in championship bouts against Sane at TakeOver: WarGames II and Belair at TakeOver: Phoenix. Now, she’ll have to face them both, plus Shirai, in a match where she doesn’t have to be pinned or submitted to lose her title.


Shirai has had her sights set on the NXT Women’s Championship since she scored a pin over Baszler during the Feb. 6 edition of NXT, which saw her team up with Sane and Belair in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match against Baszler, Jessamyn Duke & Marina Shafir. But Shirai’s golden ambitions are nothing compared to the sheer animosity that Sane and Belair both have toward the champion. Where The Pirate Princess is eager on getting retribution, The EST of NXT is intent on snatching The Queen of Spades off her throne.

Can Baszler escape the Big Apple with her NXT Women’s Title? Or will the NXT Universe witness the dawn of a new era? Kofi Kingston asked for an opportunity, and Mr. McMahon gave him one.

In order to earn a WWE Championship Match at WrestleMania, Kingston must defeat Randy Orton. And United States Champion Samoa Joe. And The Bar. And Rowan. Yes, Kingston has to beat all five Superstars in a Gauntlet Match next Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE to keep his WrestleMania dreams alive.



The Dreadlocked Dynamo's WrestleMania quest started when Kingston entered a Gauntlet Match prior to WWE Elimination Chamber, lasting an hour in a performance that had the WWE Universe clamoring for Kofi to be given a chance on a bigger stage. Kingston put on another stellar performance inside the Chamber, making it to the final two and nearly dethroning Daniel Bryan before narrowly coming up short.

Kingston’s WWE Championship opportunity at WWE Fastlane was snatched away by Mr. McMahon, and The Chairman then baited Kofi into the ring for a 2-on-1 demolition at the hands of The Bar. Two days later, a fired-up New Day implored Mr. McMahon to give Kingston a chance. The WWE Chairman did, throwing down the gauntlet.

Shane McMahon vs. The Miz WrestleMania Match Preview #MMBMania

In just a few short months, Shane McMahon & The Miz formed a tag team that stole the hearts of the WWE Universe, bonded over their unique relationships with their respective fathers and became the unlikeliest of titleholders when they unseated The Bar as SmackDown Tag Team Champions during an edge-of-your-seat thriller at the Royal Rumble event in one of WWE’s genuinely feel-good moments of 2019.

Then, in one fell swoop at WWE Fastlane after the tandem failed to regain the titles from The Usos, Shane did the unthinkable, savagely attacking The A-Lister from behind, grabbing Miz’s father by the face before shoving him to the floor and forcing Mr. Miz to watch him continue to pulverize his son in an uncomfortable and prolonged assault.


Even prior to his jaw-dropping betrayal of The Awesome One, Shane was harboring a strong resentment toward Miz, unbeknownst to almost everyone. The two had seldom seen eye-to-eye in the past, but when Shane stepped in for an injured Miz to win the finals of the World Cup Tournament, The A-Lister expected two-thirds of the credit for being “Best in the World.”

Shane silently dismissed any contribution Miz made during that tournament and in their pursuit of the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, and he put all the blame on him for losing the gold to The Usos at WWE Elimination Chamber. 

Back on SmackDown LIVE, Shane revealed the full extent of his bitterness toward his now former partner and said he enjoyed beating The Awesome One up in front of his father. demanded The Miz show up at WrestleMania, because after all, The A-Lister does work for him. Shane vowed to continue his onslaught in a match against Miz at WrestleMania, promising a beating that would be awesome.
