Paula Abdul managed to captivate the 2019 Billboard Music Awards on Wednesday night (May 1) with a six-minute medley featuring some of her biggest hits of the past like "Straight Up,""Opposites Attract,""Cold Hearted" and "Forever Your Girl." Among the captivated included Julianne Hough, who was accidentally hit during Abdul's hat toss mid-performance.

While the moment spread like wildfire on social media, the 30-year-old star took to Twitter to share a photo of her sitting in a chair wearing what looked like a neck brace and offered two thumbs up to the camera. "The result of the honor of being hit in the neck by @PaulaAbdul’s flying hat!" she captioned the shot, adding, "Love you, babe!!! #BBMAs." Meanwhile, Abdul's response was nothing short of comedic. "OMG IM PEEING MY PANTS!!!!! You know it was with love," she responded. 

Abdul's performance served as a promotional platform for her just-announced Las Vegas residency, "Paula Abdul: Forever Your Girl," which kicks off August 13. Tickets go on sale to the public on Saturday at 10 AM. "I love telling stories through music and dance, and engaging with the audience," the former American Idol judge said while announcing the show. "I'm taking the essence of the classic choreography that has become part of my legacy and I want to have a real experience with the audience so they leave knowing me a bit more."

Surprise! Blake Lively is pregnant and expecting her third child with husband Ryan Reynolds. The actress debuted her baby bump and announced the news at the New York City premiere of Pokémon: Detective Pikachu on Thursday, May 2. 

Lively glowed from head to toe in a chic yellow Retrofete dress.

The couple – who quietly tied the knot in 2012 – are already parents to 4-year-old daughter James and 2-year-old daughter Inez.

During a recent interview, Reynolds expressed how important family is to them.

“Blake and I don’t do movies at the same time,” he told People magazine of their schedules. “If she is doing a movie in Thailand and I am doing a movie in Vancouver we would just never see each other. We operate as a unit, and that works really well for us.”

D'ANGELO RUSSELL BUSTED FOR WEED AT AIRPORT Stashed in Arizona Tea Can #MMBSports

NBA star D'Angelo Russell was busted for marijuana at a New York City airport Wednesday night ... after TSA found weed stashed in his checked bag.

DLo's luggage was searched before his flight to Louisville took off from LaGuardia airport around 7 PM ... when a suspicious can of Arizona Iced Tea flagged the system.

As it turns out, it wasn't just an ordinary can of tea -- it was one of those "cans" that actually has a secret compartment people use to hide their drugs (y'all stoners know what we're talking about).

We're told there was more weed found in a grinder inside the fake can as well.


Law enforcement sources tell us Russell initially tried to say the weed belonged to his brother, but he was alone and in possession of the bag.

TMZ Sports has learned that Russell was cited for possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) ... and was allowed to leave. We're told the summons usually results in the defendant paying a fine.

The Brooklyn Nets released a statement Thursday afternoon, saying, "We have been made aware of the situation involving D’Angelo Russell and are in the process of gathering more information at this time."

It was a breakout season for Russell ... who averaged 21 points and 7 assists per game and made his 1st All-Star game.

Chewbacca Actor, Peter Mayhew, Dead at 74 #MMBComic

Chewbacca's howling in heaven today ... Peter Mayhew -- the man behind the mask of the iconic 'Star Wars' character -- has died ... according to his family.

We're told the actor died from a heart condition Tuesday at his home in North Texas, and was surrounded by friends and family. Peter played Chewie in all three films of the original 'Star Wars' trilogy, and did it all over again decades later in 'The Revenge of the Sith' and in 2015's 'The Force Awakens.'

His family says Peter fought his way back from being in a wheelchair to star in 'The Force Awakens' before retiring. However, he served as a consultant to Joonas Suotamo -- the Finnish basketball player who took over the role in 'The Last Jedi.'

Mayhew's survived by his wife and 3 children. His family is asking fans to donate to the Peter Mayhew Foundation -- which benefits families around the world in crisis situations -- in lieu of sending flowers or gifts.

They add ... there will be a memorial service for family in June, but in December ... they're planning to hold a service fans can attend in Los Angeles.

Peter was 74.

Kylie Jenner is ready to become a mom-of-two!

According to E! News, the 21-year-old billionaire, who welcomed her first child, daughter Stormi Webster, with Travis Scott in 2018, is already making plans for baby number two. "Kylie talks about having another baby very frequently," a source told the entertainment news site. "She would love to have another baby with Travis and would love to be pregnant by next year. She talks about it all the time and feels like she was truly meant to be a mother."


As fans know, Kylie recently told the world, and Travis, about her desire to expand their family in an Instagram post dedicated to the "SICKO MODE" rapper for his birthday on Tuesday (April 30). "watching you evolve into the partner, friend, son, and father you are today has been so fulfilling ♥️ my real life bestie & hubby all wrapped into one. i love you and I’m so so proud of you. happy happy birthday 🎉🎁 let’s f**k around and have another baby. 🤪," she wrote on Instagram.


And being the planner that she is, Kylie's already got a preference when it comes to the sex of baby number two. When her friend Heather Sanders commented on Kylie's birthday post to Travis saying, "Happy birthday Travis..I love you guys.. Perfect lil family now give stormiest a brother," Kylie corrected her, responding, "Sister !!!!"

The reality star turned business mogul has admittedly always wanted to be a mom. Back in March, she opened up to Interview Germany about her longtime desire to be a young parent. "I always knew I wanted to be a young mother," she said. "I remember people used to ask, 'Are you ready for this?' And I always knew I was ready but you don't know what that love and that feeling is like until after you have a child. She really comes before me so that is a lot to take in at a young age but I feel like I was definitely made for this and she has changed my life for the better."


"The way that I look at things is a lot more positive," Kylie added. "I really feel like my life didn't start until I had her."

Buckingham Palace Finally Gave An Update On Meghan Markle's Baby #MMBPop

As the days tick by without a royal birth announcement, royal watchers are beginning to speculate that Meghan Markle has already welcomed Baby Sussex in private. While there are definitely some compelling clues that this could be the case, Buckingham Palace has finally gave an update on the royal baby's arrival. Though Meghan's due date was reportedly last Sunday (April 28), a representative for Buckingham Palace confirmed Baby Sussex "hasn't been born yet."

While Baby Sussex isn't here yet, all signs point to the imminent arrival of the newest member of the British Royal Family. Both Prince Harry and Prince Charles will be going abroad on official royal business next week, so, it's safe to assume Meghan is expected to give birth before those trips. While it's one thing if Charles is abroad for the arrival of his fourth grandchild, it would definitely be in bad form for Harry to schedule a trip when his wife could potentially be in labor.

Should Meghan give birth on Friday (May 3), Baby Sussex will share a birthday with her cousin Princess Charlotte. Meghan and Harry's baby will also share a zodiac sign with Charlotte, Prince Louis and Queen Elizabeth. Baby Sussex will be the fourth royal Taurus.

Though Harry and Meghan opted to be surprised by their baby's gender, professional oddsmakers predict they're expecting a little girl. Elizabeth and Diana used to be the frontrunners for the little one's name, however, two unexpected options have quickly gained popularity. Both Grace and Allegra had surprising leaps in favorability over the past few days. Grace tops the list with 6-1 odds, while Allegra jumped 100-1 odds to 20-1 odds.

Here's Where You Can Get Starbucks' New Cookies & Cream Frappuccinos #MMBPop

Starbucks announced they're launching two brand new frappuccino flavors: Cookies & Cream and Strawberry Donut. The new summer beverages were first spotted by instagram snack account @CandyHunting, which revealed the frappuccinos would be dropping in stores ASAP. The only problem? They're currently only available across the pond.

According to a statement from Starbucks, the U.K. exclusive beverages are going to be tasty AF. The Strawberry Donut Frappuccino features real donut crumbles, milk, and ice, blended with a layer of strawberry puree and freeze-dried strawberries on top. The Cookies & Cream Frappuccino includes cookies, milk, ice and a cookies and cream topping. Who's ready to hop on a plane after reading that?

While the Cookies & Cream Frappuccino isn't currently available in the U.S., Delish reports the Starbucks secret menu has a very similar item American frapp lovers can order instead. If you order a Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino with white mocha sauce topped with chocolate whipped cream, you'll get pretty close to the U.K. exclusive beverage.

As for the Strawberry Donut Frappuccino? We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope Starbucks decides to bring these new flavors over the U.S. ASAP.

Rihanna Gets Emotional During Sweet Reunion With High School Teacher #MMBMusic

Rihanna has a special place in her heart for her educators, as per her recent reunion with a high school teacher, and the tender moment was caught on-camera.

On Monday (July 1), the pop titan made a surprise appearance at the ICC Cricket World Cup in Durham and bumped into her old teacher, Mr Eastwick. In footage making the rounds, the 31-year-old star can be seen hugging her former educator and it's clear the encounter had her emotions running high. "This is my teacher from school! He was a mentor and father figure to me. I haven’t seen him in years!" the star replied to a video of the meet-up on @popcravenews. Over on her own account, Rihanna shared a photo of the two via her Instagram Stories alongside the caption: "My mentor, my champ, my MVP, my school teacher, my first 'JayBrown'… #MrEastwick! You made my day."


Rihanna's appearance at the game comes in the middle of a busy work schedule for the star. In addition to making an appearance at the 2019 BET Music Awards, the star recently launched her Fenty Maison collection under LVHM at a pop-up store in New York City. While the collection features futuristic sunglasses, shimmery jewelry and oversized clothing, the essence of the Fenty Maison line lives up to the entertainer's values, too. Many of the items make reference to her Barbados stomping grounds and the presentation of the line even feels true to the star. As the venture continues to make noise, many on social media have praised the star for including curvy black mannequins throughout the two-floor store and we can't think of a better way for the chart-topper to mark her territory as the first woman to create an original brand under the luxury group.

Miley Cyrus Pushes A Powerful Agenda In Her 'Mother's Daughter' Video #MMBMusic

Miley Cyrus' new music video for "Mother's Daughter" dropped on Tuesday (July 2) and it sees the pop titan push the feminist agenda behind the track's lyrics.

In the clip, the 26-year-old appears in front of an empty set dressed in a racy latex catsuit, but this time the chart-topper has paired her sexuality with a much-welcomed politically-charged message for all kinds of women, including her own mother Tish Cryus. As the clip unravels, viewers see Tish, as well as a number of other faces like skateboarder Lacey Baker, transgender model Casil McArthur, dancer Amazon Ashley, Vandela, transgender model Aaron Philip, actress Angelina Duplisea, and actress Mela Murder. Not only does the project rep for female diversity, but Cyrus also makes her political stance crystal clear as messages like "virginity is a social construct" and "not an object" plash across the screen. "Mother's Daughter" is the first single off her latest EP, She Is Coming, which dropped in late May.


On Monday (July 1), Cryus teased the clip on Twitter, writing, "@almacyber [Alma] & I wrote a bad ass feminist anthem called Mother’s Daughter and I am dropping the music video tomorrow 7/2! Beware it’s the SH*T just like all the bad ass women starring alongside muah!"

Cyrus is performing at this year's iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas in September alongside a lineup of superstar artists. Fans across the country can tune in and watch an exclusive live stream of the show via The CW App and CWTV.com. Then, on October 2nd and 3rd, relive all of the epic performances from the weekend during a televised special on The CW Network at 8pm ET/PT. And leading up to the official television special, The CW will also air an hour-long Best Of Special on Sunday, September 29th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
